About MRN
MRN was founded in 1993 as a vehicle to support church based missions in the US and around the world. The agency was born out of a north Atlanta church plant as the church began to engage in Bosnia-Herzegovina. MRN currently has staff in the US, Siberia, Bosnia & Burkina Faso as well as a medical mission which serves throughout Africa. Church planting has been the heartbeat of MRN for 23 years.
This has always been God’s process for extending the kingdom. A local church creates a mission team (as Antioch did with Paul and Barnabas in Acts 13); and the mission team starts new churches (as Paul and Barnabas did in Acts 13 and 14); and those churches then add to the mission force (as Derbe and Lystra did in Acts 16. As this process is repeated, local churches and mission teams advance in a “leap frog” dynamic that penetrates new cultures with the gospel and that extends the kingdom of God. Please pray for MRN's effectiveness as we continue extending the kingdom in the US, in Bosnia, in Siberia, In Burkina Faso and in other African countries.
MRN remains committed to a church-based philosophy of ministry and serves as the mission expression of Generations Norcross, a non-denominational church plant located in a north-east Atlanta suburb. MRN believes that churches of all sizes are called to directly participate in the Great Commission and as an organization it can walk beside churches desiring to send missionaries. If you have any questions about MRN or "church based missions" contact us.
