Church Partnership
Light Up Burkina is passionate about church planting! We believe that churches planting churches has always been God's design for reaching the lost and dying. Our central focus is to work with brothers and sisters in Christ to see churches be planted and flourish throughout Burkina Faso. Our vision is that God would connect individuals, families, small groups and churches with pastors and church plants here in Burkina.
Below are Pastors, church planters and in some cases targeted villages (a village without a church that is being evangelized, laying the groundwork for a church plant), where opportunities exist to pray for and support specific projects to build and strengthen local churches. We would love for you to choose a village to commit to pray for and possibly, if God leads, to support for a period of time. This will allow us to share about your prayer and support with each particular pastor, and allow you to send us your prayer requests so that these churches can be lifting up you, your group or your church as well. Our fraternity is never stronger than in prayer! As God brings more and more people and churches into partnership, we can all rejoice together as we see the name of Jesus advanced.
Because of the strength of the US Dollar versus the CFA, for very little investment by US standards, huge impacts are within the reach of partnering individuals, small groups, organizations and churches. Please look through the opportunities below and consider where you feel led to get involved. Then send us an email so we can rejoice with the local church and pastors as they learn of your partnership.
